The Sunday Silence sireline is one of the most powerful in the world and has been added to the Aquis Farm roster with the addition of dual Group I winning sprinter Brave Smash (Jpn).
Bought from Japan as a tried horse by Australian Bloodstock in 2017, Brave Smash arrived with the reputation of being a serious sprinter and quickly made his mark finishing third in the inaugural $10million the Everest behind Redzel and Vega Magic.
He competed consistently at the top level winning the Group I MRC Futurity Stakes (WFA 1400m) and MVRC Manikato Stakes (WFA 1200m) as well as gaining further Group I placings in the VRC Newmarket Handicap twice, MVRC AJ Moir Stakes and MRC CF Orr Stakes.
Brave Smash is the best offspring of Tosen Phantom, a grand-son of legendary sire Sunday Silence and his female family features Japanese Champions Daiwa Scarlet, Daiwa Major and Vermilion.
Dual Group I winning sprinter at weight-for-age.
Outcross pedigree representing the all-conquering Sunday Silence sireline.
Won the Group I MRC Futurity Stakes (WFA 1400m) and MVRC Manikato Stakes (WFA 1200m), races also won by leading sire Rubiton.
Stakes winning juvenile
“Brave Smash has surpassed even our expectations. The first Japanese horse to win a Group 1 (WFA) race in Australia below 1500m. He has a race record that is the envy of most horses being retired to Stud. I particularly love the fact that he trained on as an older horse, emphasising his soundness, toughness and class. Physically he will let down into an imposing stallion that our Breeders demand. If he passes on his incredible turn of foot to his progeny he is sure to as big a success in the Barn.”
Jamie Lovett, Australian Bloodstock
“He is everything a trainer wants in a sprinter. A big powerful hip, incredible action and a devastating turn of foot."
Kris Lees, Trainer
