Aquis Farm featured in a two-state stakes double on Saturday (April 30) with exciting 2YO Pierro colt Bellevue Hill winning the Group III ATC Schweppervescence at Rosehill, while progressive charge forward mare Everyday Lady gained valuable Black Type with her win in the Listed SAJC Manihi Classic in Adelaide.

Aquis has now had 85 wins since August 1 and is quickly closing on last years’s record-breaking tally of 92 wins.

Aquis’ quality team of horse men and women, led by CEO Shane McGrath, have put in place first class facilities and systems to ensure every horse has the best possible chance of success on the track.

“Our success is the culmination of a huge amount of teamwork across all aspects of our operation,” Mr McGrath said.

“The pre-training and spelling set up at Canungra under the leadership of Kacy Fogden allows our horses to achieve a high level of base fitness and education before they depart for the various trainers we believe will suit them best.

“Behind every win there is a lot of hard work and planning and we are very grateful to all the members of our team who work towards this success.”

Bellevue Hill and Everyday Lady add to a growing list of stakes-winners this season co-owned by Aquis which includes Group I Victoria Derby winner Extra Brut, Dubious, Houtzen, Doubt Defying, Siege of Quebec, Lean Mean Machine and of course champion sprinting filly Sunlight, a triple Group I winner of over $4million in prizemoney.
