With the 2020 covering season commencing a few weeks ago, Aquis Seymour’s new stallion Royal Meeting (IRE), the Gr.1-winning son of Invincible Spirit has taken to the new phase of his life in sensational fashion.

The success of I Am Invincible locally, and Kingman internationally, to name a few, places a high level of demand on Invincible Spirit sire-line stallions, and in Royal Meeting, we have an outstanding, high-quality racehorse with all the pedigree attributes to prove successful at stud.

Royal Meeting’s Gr.1 Criterium International (1400m) winning performance where he quickened with ease to defeat the Aidan O’Brien-trained Galileo filly Hermosa, who would later go on to highlight her ability and record success in the Gr.1 One Thousand Guineas and Gr.1 Irish One Thousand Guineas, showed the devastating turn of foot the former Godolphin-trained colt possessed.

The presence of Invincible Spirit’s sons at stud have grown significantly in recent years due to their outstanding success, with those sons producing over 150 stakes winners highlighted by 17 individual Gr.1 winners, nine of which were achieved in Australasia alone.

Outside of Champion Sire in waiting I Am Invincible, who is currently leading the way on the Australian General Sires’ Table, European based Kingman is another exciting son on the rise with recent success.

One of 42 stakes performers for his sire Kingman, Persian King’s recently recorded a facile victory in the Gr.1 Prix du Moulin de Longchamp (1600m) over last season’s European Champion 2YO Pinatubo, continuing to bring to the fore the Gr.1-winning son from his sireline, while further sons Territories and Shalaa, both with first crop runners in Europe, sit in the top ten freshman sires with plenty of promise to come.

While continuing to highlight the success of the sireline, another facet that clearly brings Royal Meeting into the spotlight is his sensational, active Gr.1 pedigree.

Out of the Gr.1-winning, Champion 2YO Rock Opera, whose is a full sister to the dam of dual Gr.1 winner Van Halen, and also a half-sister to the dam of three stakes winners led by the Gr.1-winning sprinter Seattle Singer, Rock Opera is also the dam of three-time Gr.2 winner Heavy Metal, a millionaire son of Exceed And Excel.

With the blood of Danehill showing an affiliation with Royal Meeting’s pedigree, other stakes winners out of Danehill-line mares by Invincible Spirit line stallions include Persian King, Fiesta, Strasbourg, Overshare, Invincible Star, Fiesta and many, many more, indicating the plentiful opportunities available due to the abundance of Danehill blood in Australia.
