Returning to Aquis in the Hunter Valley this spring, quality shuttle-stallion Dream Ahead added a new Stakes winner to his tally overnight in France with a tenacious black-type victory for progressive four year-old Tornibush.
He scored a head win in the Listed Prix Jacques de Bremond over 1m on turf taking his overall record to five wins from 12 starts.
Tornibush is the 18th Stakes winner for Dream Ahead and has won his past four starts.
He is the first winner for Celenza, a half-sister by Dansili to Group I winner Vadamos, who stands at stud in New Zealand.
Completely free of Danzig blood, Dream Ahead has proven a great match for Danehill line mares and seven of his 18 Stakes winners are bred this way including his Australian Stakes winners Dreams Aplenty, Generalissimo and Awaken.
Dream Ahead stands at a fee of $16,500.
