Standing in Queensland for Aquis Farm this spring, Group I sire Husson (Arg) featured at the big Grafton meeting on Wednesday when his promising three year-old Sneaky Glance captured the recent $50,000 Grafton Guineas as a short priced favourite.
Sneaky Glance has been in red hot form since joining the stable of Gold Coast trainer Toby Edmonds in March and the Segenhoe Thoroughbreds owned gelding has won all four starts in Queensland since then.
Sneaky Glance has just kept improving as the bar has been raised and surged clear to win this 1600 metre feature by three quarters of a length taking his overall record to four wins from seven starts with prizemoney topping $80,000.
A $100,000 Magic Millions National Yearling Sale purchase from the Edinburgh Park draft, Sneaky Glance is a half-brother to Group III placed Feels Like Home and is the third winner from stakes-winning Danehill Dancer (IRE) mare Danehill Smile.
The sire of winners of over $4.3 million this season including Group and stakes-winners Frolic, Lucky Hussler, Moral Victory and Husson Eagle, Husson stands at a fee of $13,200.
