Currency War.

It was very exciting to see the Aquis colours represented by a winner in China on Saturday. Our partner Mr Yui Wenlei, who races many horses in Australia with Aquis, recorded a victory at Saturday’s Yulong race day with his 2YO Currency War saluting in splendid fashion.

Currency War, who is aptly named being by Eurozone, is a graduate of the 2017 Magic Millions Gold Coast 2YOs In Training Sale where he was purchased by Mr Yui for $32,500, having breezed in a time of 10.66 seconds.

Currency War is out of the Group 3 CJC Gold Cup winner Hootandance, who is by Victory Dance (Sadler’s Wells). Hootandance has had three other runners and all are winners and include the multiple Hong Kong winner Access Years (Stratum) who earned HK$5,890,250 from his 23 race starts.

If you are interested in racing a horse in Asia then please email our Hong Kong Representative Mr Tony Lam or our Head of Asian and Private Sales, Mr Tom Inglis for more information.
