The Beans Settles In At The National

In Bloodstock & Breeding, Spill The Beans by Ben Ready

After a long journey and a couple of weeks in quarantine, Spill The Beans is getting his first taste of life on foreign shores after finally joining his stable partners at The National Stud this week.

He has already struck up a great friendship with his handlers Paddy and Sam who reckon he is one of the easiest stallions they have to manage. By all reports he has settled in well and adjusting to the weather. It goes without saying that coming from the sunny Gold Coast into the deep winter at Newmarket would be tough for anyone.

Luckily he is surrounded by some of the best handlers in the world with plenty of experience in making sure their every need is catered for.

Regardless of the weather a stallion’s work is never done and he will be quickly into the swing of things. For most of January he will be meeting agents and media keen to cast their eye of Australia’s busiest first year stallion.

The National Stud team tell us they are very excited about the opportunity to showcase a new stallion to the local breeding community and are confident he will turn plenty of heads.
