Aquis Shows Commitment to Queensland Racing by Taking Stables At Aquis Park Gold Coast Turf Club

In Farm News by Ben Ready

Aquis is proud to announce an extension to our Queensland Racing and Training Division by the establishment of an on-track training operation at Aquis Park Gold Coast Turf Club. This new extension will supplement our state-of-the-art training and pre-training centre at Canungra. Utilising both facilities will enable us to be preparing to race over 120 horses at any point of time.

The Board of Directors of Aquis Farm Group are greatly encouraged by a series of recent steps undertaken in Queensland including:

  • The reappointment of the Queensland Racing Integrity Commissioner for a lengthy extended term.
  • The greater investment in drug testing facilities by Racing Queensland.
  • The appointment by the Gold Coast Turf Club of their own Racing and Integrity Manager.
  • The focus by and commitment of the Minister for Racing in Queensland Hon Stirling Hinchcliffe to tackle, head on, perceived integrity issues in Queensland racing.

The Board of Directors of Aquis Farm Group recommit to Queensland racing and the efforts and endeavours led by the Minister of Racing Hon Hinchcliffe, Racing Queensland and the Queensland Racing Integrity Commission.
