A great draft of yearlings offered by Aquis Farm at the 2019 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale were well received with 12 youngsters selling for $1,063,500 highlighted by a stunning Brazen Beau colt that made $480,000 to be the second highest priced offering of the sale.

A handsome brown colt very much in the mould of his sire, he was bred by the Aquis Farm Happy Valley Syndicate and purchased by Victorian based Laceby Lodge.

He is a half-brother to stakes-winner Lusaha from a full sister to Group II winner Court Command. Rose of Hallowell was bought for $200,000 at the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale in 2017 by Aquis Happy Valley Synd/Blue Sky Bloodstock so has delivered a perfect result with her first foal for her new owners.

Aquis sold 12 of 14 horses offered making for a very successful sale.

“It was a heck of a sale for the team,” said Aquis CEO Shane McGrath.
“We bought the mare for $200,000 in foal to Brazen Beau and sold him for $480,000. It goes to show you it doesn’t matter where you are in the world or at which sale, good horses always get well found and sell well.”

The next sale on the agenda for Aquis is the 2019 Magic Millions Gold Coast March Yearling Sale where we will offer 16 lots.
