overview

An unbeaten superstar on the track, Husson was the Champion 2YO Colt of Argentina in 2006 and Champion 3YO Miler in 2007-08, before embarking on a stud career in Australia following in the footsteps of his Champion Sire Hussonet (USA).

A highly successful and versatile sire, Husson is noted for producing his share of fast 2YO’s such as last season’s Golden Slipper runner-up Frolic, as well as older horses with longevity such as his dual G1 winner and $2 million earner Lucky Hussler.

Husson has been a star performer at the $10 million Magic Millions race day at the Gold Coast siring Private Secretary to win the Magic Millions Plate for F&M this year. He also sired Husson Eagle to win the Magic Millions Sprint and Lucky Hussler the Magic Millions Cup last year.

  • Sire of high class stakes-winners headed by G1 winner Lucky Hussler and Golden Slipper runner-up Frolic
  • A speed influence carrying double Mr. Prospector
  • Completely free of the Danzig blood
  • By Hussonet, who has established a powerful nick with Danehill to produce over 40 stakes-winners including six G1 winners
