Leading Queensland thoroughbred breeding and training facility Aquis Farm has unveiled its full stallion roster for 2017, with eight stunning sires to stand at service fees ranging from $4,400 to $16,500 for the Gai Waterhouse-trained colt Kiss And Make Up.
After standing four stallions – Spill The Beans, Holy Roman Emperor, Benfica and Domesday – with great success in 2016, Aquis Farm has doubled its roster this year to create a diverse range of options for breeders and an abundance of different bloodlines to choose from.
In its tireless quest to stand quality stallions for Queensland breeders, Aquis Farm has added Kiss And Make Up, Husson, Furnaces and Sweet Orange to its already proven roster. Queensland breeders have a diverse choice in where to breed their mares with both Danehill line stallions and Danehill outcross stallions represented.
Aquis Farm’s Justin Fung said the full roster of eight stallions met the Farm’s commitment to the industry to provide local access to top shelf bloodstock.
“We are totally committed to establishing Aquis Farm as one of Australia’s leading stallion farms and we think we are demonstrating that with our 2017 roster,” he said. “We are delighted with how our new stallions have been received already and we await the new breeding season with excitement.”
